On the 28th of December 2019, the Inventors Club in partnership with The Rooted Forum held a Robot Spider competition wherein teams of children aged 7 – 14 competed against one another to earn the title of Robot Spider Champion 2019.
The young people were given boxes full of components and were instructed to build a motorised spider. Although this may seem like a difficult task for such small people, their eager minds pushed through and each individual constructed a fully working Robot Spider.
After the construction stage we had a race in order to determine the fastest robot spider. Following an intense and closely fought battle, Ayla emerged victorious as the inaugural Robot Champion 2019.
